Will it hurt or leave marks?+

No. The blade never pinches — it vibrates against damp skin and lifts the plug out, which is the whole point of using it instead of your fingers. Keep it nearly flat and use short strokes.

How often should I use it?+

Once or twice a week is plenty for most people. It's a deep clean, not a daily wash — overdoing it leaves skin tight and irritated.

Does it work on dry skin?+

It needs damp skin to work at all. Warm water or a few minutes of steam first, and keep a spray bottle nearby to re-wet the area as you go.

It arrived well packed in a box, no damage. In the kit: the scrubber, its charging stand, a double-sided silicone head for cleansing or massaging the face, a USB cable and an instruction manual in English. You can charge it through the stand or directly. It came already charged and in working order. The 5 modes cycle each time you press the power button — though the 5th makes no sound at all. No wall plug, and I saw no difference
The device arrived intact and matches the description — the only thing is there's no wall plug for charging, they cut that corner. But I didn't get any effect out of it. Take any plain spatula and you'd get the same thing.
